Whether in Transition Year or just a particular interest in a certain sport, we can build you a training program that will introduce and progress your group to the level that they want to achieve. We will supply you with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet and an instructor.
You will need to bring a swim suit, towel and a pair of water shoes. We can offer you expert tuition and guidance to achieve your goals and ambitions. Vouchers are also available for our courses – give the gift of knowledge!

Kayaking
Level 2 Kayaking Skills Course
No experience required. This is five two hour lessons designed to bring your kayaking skills up to ICU level 2 personal skills. Held in the sheltered waters of Bray harbour, you will learn paddling strokes and rescue techniques as well as important do’s and don’ts from our friendly instructors who work with small groups to make sure you get the most out of the course.
This is an ICU certified course and makes a great treat or present. Once this course is completed you will be allowed to hire kayaking equipment.
Stand Up Paddle Boarding
Stand Up Paddle Boarding
Flat Water Skills. No experience required. This course is for anyone who would like to progress their Supping skills. It consists of four two hour lessons. Held in the sheltered waters of Bray Harbour you will learn important do’s and don’ts as well as improved paddling strokes and self – rescue techniques.
Our friendly instructors will teach you Surf etiquette, weather and tide awareness to get you ready for paddling along the coast. Once this course is completed you will be allowed to hire Supping equipment. Certified by the ICU.

White Water Skills Award – (1,2&3) Certified by the ISA.
Snorkelling
Intro to Snorkelling
This consists of 8 x 1 hour swimming pool sessions. Certified by the Irish Under Water Council.

25 members of Mercury Explorer Unit enjoyed a wonderful day with John and Bray Adventures. John was a fantastic instructor – hugely knowledgable, enthusiastic and fantastic with young people. The coasteering was awesome with some big jumps and challenges for all involved. Thank you Bray Adventures!

Excellent location
John and his team are extremely knowledgeable and patient. I was a very nervous kayaker but John quickly put me at ease and helped me enjoy my time on the water. Really looking forward to coasteering in warmer weather!!

Local Guide Level 3
My 12 year old son loved this camp, would have gone the next week too if he could have. He did a big range of activities, spent lots of time on the sea and enjoyed the company of the other kids. He wants to go again next summer and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
