All equipment is provided, including wetsuits and safety gear
Activities are carefully planned with safety and enjoyment at the core

What to Bring

All equipment is provided. Bring only what you need for comfort and the weather.

Water Activities

Swimming togs or layer under wetsuit (wetsuit supplied)
Old trainers you don’t mind getting wet
Towel & dry clothes
Plastic bag for wet items
Packed lunch & drinks for full-day trips
Sunscreen, insect repellent (seasonal), personal medication

Land Activities

Weather-appropriate clothing (rain jacket, warm layers, gloves, hat)
Avoid cotton/jeans; choose sportswear or outdoor clothing
Sturdy footwear (walking boots for hillwalking)
Backpack for jacket, drinks, snacks
Spare clothes for journey home
Sunscreen, insect repellent (seasonal)

Mercury Explorer Unit & 4th Streatham Sea Scouts Review

25 members of Mercury Explorer Unit enjoyed a wonderful day with John and Bray Adventures. John was a fantastic instructor – hugely knowledgable, enthusiastic and fantastic with young people.
